Industrial Repair Technician / Millwright (Full-Time)

We are a leading repair facility specializing in process air and gas equipment seeking a motivated and focused individual to repair mechanical equipment and be vital to our growth.

 

Responsibilities Include:

• Disassembly of rotating equipment including blowers and vacuum pumps

• Evaluation to determine failure and collaborative preparation of repair reports

• Repair, rebuild, and test equipment

• Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment

• Attend manufacturer's training and participate in ongoing training with experienced technicians

 

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Solid hands on mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

• Understand purpose and proper use of small hand/power tools

• Ability and desire to learn and take direction from experienced technicians for equipment repair skills such as tear down, operation, testing, failure evaluation, and assembly.

• Participate in manufacturer sponsored -training programs.

• Basic computer and organization skills.

• Ability to effectively handle priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.

• 2 -5 years of work experience in machine or engine repair

Materials Handler / Shipping & Receiving (Full-Time)

The candidate for this full-time position will be required to perform a variety of warehouse functions including:

• shipping and receiving of goods
• inventory management
• utilizing our computer software system
• managing a network of vendors and carriers
• general shop duties as directed

 

Qualified applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess basic math and computer skills, can perform multiple tasks simultaneously and operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

We are looking for an Order Fulfillment / Customer Service Representative to join our corporate Operations Team. This position supports our staff by performing a variety of order entry and administrative tasks such as:

 

• Acknowledging order receipt to customers

• Entering the customers’ order in our ERP system

• Developing and executing complete and detailed lists of buyout requirements to fulfill customer orders

• Monitoring direct and stock order purchasing related to customer order activity

• Communicating with customers and company staff as needed regarding order progress and shipping expectations

• Coordinating shipment and order fulfillment with company shipping and receiving staff to exceed customer expectations

As a sales engineer at Geiger, you will combine access to market leading rotating equipment brands, mechanical seals and controls among other products, with our extensive application and engineering expertise, aftermarket services, repair, and engineered skid system capabilities to serve existing customers and develop new business within a defined local territory.
